A reputable and growing company in the Harrisburg area is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in performing repairs and maintenance on tractor trailer trucks and heavy equipment.

Job Overview:
Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel powered vehicles and equipment.

1st shift hours: 6:30am-4:30pm with occasional overtime on Saturdays until noon. Salary: $27-$30/hr DOE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reading work orders
Inspecting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on equipment including cranes, rigs, back hoes, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment.
Performing basic maintenance on heavy equipment
Communicating with management and colleagues on time frames of repairs.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic working with heavy equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Experience working on construction sites or similar
