Are you an experienced Automotive Service Technician? Certified to perform inspections and emissions? Interested in working in the York area for a reputable company? Look no further—we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Now hiring skilled Automotive Service Technicians to perform vehicle repairs, routine maintenance, inspections, and emissions testing while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This is a Direct Hire position and not temporary.

Competitive pay and excellent benefits! Pay rate: DOE (Depends on Experience).

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain required parts.
Save and tag parts for warranty claims or customer requests.
Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and inform the service advisor.
Document all work performed.
Conduct road tests when required or refer to the test technician.
Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians as assigned.
Stay updated on factory training programs and technical bulletins.
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure dealership tools are accounted for.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications:

Basic mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of proper tool usage and safety techniques.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Education/Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
ASE certification preferred but not required.
Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience.
