Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Personnel/Packaging Machine Operator to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment. This role involves working with various machines, ensuring quality production standards are met, keeping the machines filled, while maintaining the correct weight and temperature, along with a safe and efficient workspace.
Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7am-5pm or 8:30am-6pm, Night Shift: 6pm-4pm.
Sanitation positions also available on 3rd shift: 11pm-7:30am.
Starting Wages: $17-$18/hr with an increase provided in approximately 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment on the assembly line to produce high-quality products.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements; sets stop and guides as indicated by container size.
- Cleans and assembles filler machine
- Sets up and activates machine
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility and work areas.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a food manufacturing facility setting.
- Efficient and accurate use of weights and measures required
- Accurate completion of daily paperwork and HAACP paperwork
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus, along with proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Familiar in working with table scales, dumpers, heat sealers, bag sealers, and thermometers
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts.
