Well look no further as REM Staffing has a job for you.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor/Lead Operator to oversee daily operations within our client's manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of machine operating. This role involves supervising staff, setting up staff schedules, equipment inspections and maintenance and quality control. The Supervisor/Lead Operator will play a key role in team development, training, and implementing company policies to foster a productive work environment, while making sure the machinery is well maintained and working correctly.Duties
- Lead and supervise manufacturing operations, ensuring team productivity and adherence to company standards
- Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance
- Creating staff schedules
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to optimize product availability
- Conducting inspections on machinery and maintenance as needed.
- Document work histories on all maintenance performed.
- Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong team
- Maintain organizational skills for scheduling, inventory management, and plant maintenance
- Support other leadership initiatives by participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive workplace culture
Requirements
- Proven supervising or team management experience in retail or similar environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong experience coaching and training associates are required.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and budgeting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage shift schedules effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Must possess excellent organizational skills along with proficiency in retail sales processes including pricing strategies and sales management
Shift
- Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7am-7pm (Work 36 hours paid for 40 hours)
