Electronic Assembly- 2nd Shift
Job Description
Are you an experienced assembler with great hand tool skills? Looking for a temp-to-perm position in the Manheim area? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
SUMMARY:
As an Electronic Assembler , you will be responsible for assembling a variety of louvered damper products and electrical panels using hand tools such as drills, pneumatic drivers, rivet guns, and more.
2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Assemble a wide range of damper products per work instructions and specifications.
- Operate hand tools like drills, rivet guns, pneumatic drivers, and wrenches to assemble parts and components.
- Perform manual and repetitive assembly functions including riveting, caulking, and bolting of parts.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality checks during production.
- Maintain equipment: Regularly clean and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Rework defective assemblies identified during QA inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of assembly experience preferred, or experience in similar manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to work well within a team.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
