Insulation Installer
Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in doing the job right the first time? We’re looking for a skilled Insulation Installer / Crew Lead to oversee residential projects, lead a crew, and ensure high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, leading by example, and delivering excellent results while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage an install crew on residential insulation projects
- Prepare job sites and ensure all materials, tools, and plans are ready for the day
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing clear communication throughout the project
- Oversee installation of insulation systems, including:
- Attic insulation (blown-in, batt, spray foam)
- Air sealing and ventilation
- Dense packing walls
- Basement rim joists
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards
- Conduct final walkthroughs with customers to confirm satisfaction
- Utilize job management software to track progress, complete documentation, and collect payments
What We’re Looking For
- Solid background in general construction (required)
- Experience in insulation installation (preferred)
- Spray foam insulation experience (strongly preferred)
- BPI certification (a plus)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for quality work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in attics, basements, and confined spaces
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions
- Ability to lift, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE – depending on experience)
